The social organization Assís Host Center has awarded cpm the construction of its new social support center for primary and specialized care in the district of Sarrià – Sant Gervasi.
The project, designed by Codina, Prat, Valls and Arquitectes Associats, contemplates the construction of the new center at the crossroads of Via Augusta in Barcelona between Santa Filomena and Isaac Albéniz streets, in the historic quarter of the Sarrià district.
The construction will be a new building of protected collective temporary accommodation. It will consist of a ground floor plus three floors, while in the basement several storage rooms and cellars will be located.
The Assis Host center has been working since 2001 with the aim of facilitating and motivating processes of social inclusion of homeless people, encouraging their promotion and citizen awareness in relation to the situation they suffer.
cpm has carried out throughout its history several projects for foundations and social organizations, such as Médicos Sin Fronteras, ARED Foundation or Arsis Foundation among others.
