BARCELONA DE SERVEIS MUNICIPALS, SA, a public company that reports to the Barcelona City Council, has awarded to cpm various rehabilitation and improvement works in several facilities of Barcelona Zoo.
The works will improve the welfare of the animals as well as the accessibility to the different habitats and spaces that the municipal facility has. In particular, the works to be carried out are the improvement of the supportive boundaries and naturalization of the facilities of the impalas, prairie dogs and red pandas, the improvement of the children’s classrooms of the farm, the works to improve the accessibility for the caretakers in the access to several facilities as well as the adaptation of the new habitat for the guanacos.
