One of the projects that cpm has participated, has been chosen as a finalist of the prizes Mies van der Rohe in its edition of 2017. It is the new municipal market of Sant Adrià of Besòs (Barcelona), a work studied of by the architects Manrique Planas arquitectes and Àgata Villa.
The project, with more than 10,000 square meters, is a work that has been characterized by its constructive complexity due to the water table and the location in the center of Sant Adrià. The sustainability of the construction also stands out in the project as well as the functionality of the equipment.
The new market in Sant Adrià, where cpm has actively participated in its construction, has two underground floors and two above ground level that houses a supermarket of Mercadona and various food stalls, as well as catering establishments.
