The governing body of the cultural society ‘L’Aliança’ of Cubelles has commissioned cpm the rehabilitation and adaptation of the theatre of Barcelona city. The installation dates back to 1914 and since then it has promoted different cultural activities, theater, film forums and colloquiums.
In 2011, Cubelles City Council declared the building as Edifice of Interest’ and after the execution of small maintenance works over the last few years, the governing board of ‘L’Aliança’, which is the owner of the theatre, has recently approved the integral reform of it.
The work will start immediately and it would form a new cpm project in the field of historical protected infrastructures after carrying out various renovations at the Palau de Justicia of Barcelona, in the pavilions of the modernist building of the Hospital de Sant Pau or in the cooperative cellar of the town of Pinell de Brai in Tarragona.
